First Solo Trip
I decided to make my first solo trip destination to Spain. I know a liiiitle (very tiny bit) bit of Spanish and the flight is not too long for a first long haul flight (I had only ever done 3 hour or less flights in the states or to Bahamas for family).
Also, I am part Puerto Rican (although I don’t really feel it lol. My grandfather is full Puerto Rican yet he does not know much spanish…). My mother is half. She mentioned it would be nice to see part of my roots so I decided to see. Maybe I was also influenced by the fact that it was Columbus Day weekend…and Columbus did in fact land in Puerto Rico on his second voyage in 1493 (which was funded by Spain. Seeeeee the connection?). But I digress…
I learned a lot on this trip. Not just about Spain, but about myself as well. However, I am not going to write an essay about the history of Spain. Here is just a bunch of pictures instead.

Note, the image names are not precise locations. I am testing an AI detector I whipped up and it is not super accurate
Also, pictures of me are upside down for some reason. It has something to do with the way I took selfies on my motorola flip phone and the static site generator’s detection of image properties. If you click on a picture, you will be able to hit the arrow keys to go through the rest on this page. My selfies will still not be upright though, so just do a handstand or something or download to your device…
Last note, these categories are not very strict and some selfies or food pics got littered onto the other categories because there were just too many pictures. Womp womp, oh well.
